Melba F. Knox
    Melba F. Knox, 95, born July 16, 1915, passed away Sunday, August 29, 2010.
    She is preceded in death by her parents, Phillip Merrick Church and Daisy Fay (Weedman) Church; her husband, Harold W. Knox; brothers, Dale and Basil Church; sister, Phyllis Wimer; and great grandsons, Kevin Sterling and Ryley Currey.
    Survivors include four daughters, Rogene Currey of Corsicana, TX, Virginia Bacon of South Haven, KS, Marjorie Cartmill of Anthony, KS, and Mary Sneed of Collinsville, OK; two sons, James Knox of Wichita, KS and William Knox of South Haven, KS; 21 grandchildren; 50 great grandchildren; and 18 great great grandchildren.
    Funeral Services will be held at the United Methodist Church in South Haven, KS on Thursday, September 2, 2010 at 10:00 A.M.  Pastor Russell McAlister will officiate.  Interment will follow the service at Rose Hill Cemetery, South Haven, KS.
    Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, September 1, 2010 from 10:00 A.M. to 8:00 P.M.  The family will be present to greet friends from 6:00 – 8:00 P.M.
    A memorial has been established with Glenwood House of Wellington, KS in lieu of flowers.  Contributions can be sent to the funeral home. 
    Frank Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
