Students give teachers pies in the face

Wellington Middle School students who meet 100 percent of their Accelerated Reader points this quarter got throw pies in their teachers faces. The teachers and students had a competition to see who could get the most points, the teachers got creamed...then they literally got creamed on May 15, by about 90 pies.

Wellington graduation - Class of 2013

The hats were in the air on Sunday, May 12 in the Wellington High School gym for the Class of 2013 graduation ceremony. The gym was filled to near capacity for the event that coincided with Mother’s Day. Co-Valedictorians, Megan Campbell, and Shanlyn Hefley each addressed the graduates before the diplomas were handed out. Thirty-one scholarships were also presented during the graduation ceremony, together totaling several thousands of dollars.
