The Wellington junior varsity and freshman boys basketball teams lost in Andover Friday.
In the JV game, Wellington fell 65-38.
Andover led 20-13 at the end of the first quarter and led 28-13 at the half. The Trojans would outscore the Crusaders 37-15 in the second half.
Wellington was led by Trey Vargas with 12 points. Gurley had 6, Cypert 2, Stallbaumer 5, Anderson 2, Heath 2, Jenkins 4, Peck 1, and Wilson 4.
In the freshman game, Wellington lost to Andover 49-29.
Andover would lead 17-9 after the first quarter and 32-17 at the half. The Crusaders could not recover.
Scoring for Wellington were: Nick Becker 9, Austin Lloyd 8, Noah Wolff 3, Logan Woodbridge 4, Cody Patterson 1, Tanner Finch 2 and Andrew Linnebur 2.
