Bauer named to 1st team AV-CTL DIV

    The Ark Valley-Chisholm Trail League Div. IV baseball list was released this week by the member coaches.
    Drew Bauer was the lone Wellington player to make first team. He was named a first-team outfielder.
    There were four Wellington players who made the list.
    The AV-CTL DIV includes the schools of Kingman, Clearwater, Circle, Rose Hill and Wellington. Andale did not submit any players.
    Bauer had a .338 batting average as a senior for the Wellington Crusaders. He had 23 hits, six doubles and two triples with a .618 on-base percentage.
    Matt Ricke of Wellington was named all-league second team pitcher with a 2.00 ERA in 28 innings pitched.
    In 71 at bats, Ricke allowed eight earned runs, 29 hits, four doubles and a triple, while striking out 22 and walking seven.
    Drake Koerner was named second-team utility player. He had a .310 batting average, 13 hits including five doubles.
    Dylan Bowman was named honorable mention pitcher.  He had a 2.53 ERA in 36 innings pitched and allowed 19 hits and one double.
    He walked 22 while striking out 52.
    Bowman was also named honorable mention third baseman with a .246 batting average.
    He had 12 runs, 16 hits, six doubles and three home runs.
