The preseason high school football polls in the state's two major Kansas newspapers have come out this week and four Sumner County schools were mentioned.
Wellington is mentioned in the "others" in Class 4A in both the Wichita Eagle and Topeka Capital Journal polls.
Conway Springs was ranked No. 3 in Class 3A in both papers.
Caldwell was ranked No. 3 in the Eagle and No. 5 in the Capital-Journal in eight-man division II.
Argonia and South Haven were mentioned in "others" in the eight-man division II poll in the Capital-Journal poll but not in the Eagle.
