    The Argonia Red Raider boys basketball team stunned Oxford Tuesday night with a huge comeback in the fourth quarter.
    Argonia was trailing by 18 in the third quarter, but came back to win 63-57 in Oxford.
    Leander Green scored 35 points in the winning cause for the Red Raiders.
    Oxford was led by Bryce Mayes, who had 33 points.
    Both Green and Mayes had four 3-pointers for their teams.
    “This was a frustrating ball game,” said Kyle Green, Oxford head boys basketball coach. “Defensively, we did not get it done in the second half. Argonia kids did a great job of taking advantage of our defensive breakdowns and I thought Green really stepped up and played a great game.”
    Oxford took a 21-15 first-quarter lead and built it to 15 with a 17-8 output in the second quarter.
    Argonia roared back with a 16-8 advantage in the third quarter and 24-11 output in the fourth.
    Argonia travels to Central/Burden Friday while Oxford hosts Elk Valley.

    Argonia opened up a 16-12 first-quarter lead and held a 37-23 advantage at the half en route to victory.
    Davi Peetoom scored 17 points, Brooke Boatright 15, and Toni Peetoom 12 for Argonia.
    Oxford was led by Norris with 12.

    Eight girls scored for Caldwell with no girls reaching double figure is a big win for the Lady Bluejays.
Cheney boys: 49 Conway Springs 34
    Cheney  took an 18-8 first quarter lead and sprinted on to victory Tuesday.
    Allen Lange led Conway Springs with 12.
Bluestem boys 59 Belle Plaine 50
    Belle Plaine fell behind Bluestem 15-11 in the first quarter and could never recover.
Bluestem girls 36 Belle Plaine 34.
    Bluestem wins in this low-scoring affair.
