The Kansas Badlands Off-Road Park in South Haven will be the site of a Central Mud Bloggers Association point race Saturday at 6 p.m.
    Registration is from 3 to 5 p.m.
    This will mark the second race of the season for the park and this one will include $2,500 added prize money on top of the normal winnings.
    Jason Strickland, one of the chief organizers of the event, said he estimates there being 120 entries for the event Saturday.
    “You’ll see some of the fastest trucks in the region at this race,” Strickland said. “I’m expecting to see a lot of trucks from across the state of Kansas.”
    This will be one of two points event for the Central Mud Bloggers Association at this particular track.
    Other events at the park include:
    •A MAMR race will be held on July 19 starting at 6 p.m.
    •August 16 will be a demo derby.
    •Another CMBA event will be held on Aug. 23.
    •The third annual Badlands Blowout is scheduled for Oct. 18.
