Derby won 314 to 300.
The meet was so close that Wellington swimmers left the Wellington Aquatic Center thinking they had won. Tuesday evening, it was reported Wellington had won by six points.
But after swim officials analyzed the data, they found an error where a timer’s score was incorrectly recorded.
Nevertheless, it didn’t take away from Wellington’s best perfomrance of the season.
