WELLINGTON — The seventh grade girls picked up their third win of season by beating El Dorado, 29-14.
Wellington’s man-to-man press made El Dorado turn the ball over many times in the first half.
Second half was slow for both teams — cold shooting for both.
Caitlin Williams had 16 rebounds followed by Baylee Jacobs with 13.
Williams was the leading scorer with 9 followed by Peyton Adams with 7 who also had five assists valuable bench help from Courtney Luna and Leah Nelson.
The girls will now play at Ark City this Thursday for the final regular season game. Pioneer League Tournament begins Saturday at Mulvane for seventh grade girls.
