There are 30 teams in the annual Sumner County Sizzler girls softball tournament this weekend at Worden Park and on the Rock Island fields.
The tournament will feature area B-level and C-level girls softball teams.
The games start Saturday at 8 a.m. and runs through Sunday at 8 p.m. The championship games will run through Sunday, with the exception of the 10-unders which the winner will be determined based on a round-robin format.
The Sizzler will count for points toward qualifying for a ASA state-qualifying tournament.
Wellington has just one team in the tournament — a 10-under group.
    Six 10-unders, 10 14-unders, five 16-unders and nine 18-unders will be participating.
This marks the 10th year for the event in Wellington that is played on the first weekend of June Wellington Recreation Commission Director William Weber said 30 teams is a typical number for the Sizzler.
"Sometimes we have 16, sometimes we have 40, it always fluctuates," Weber said.
Wellington will also be hosting another girls softball tournament on the first of July.
