The Wellington School Board officially hired four coaches and accepted the resignation of several others at Thursday night's school board meeting.
Kevin Hackerott has been hired to be the head girls basketball coach for the Wellington Crusaders. He was hired to be a math teacher and will replace Luke Smith, who has coached at WHS the past three seasons.
No information on Hackerott was available at press time.
Speaking of Smith, he has been hired to be a seventh grade boys basketball coach and an eight grade assistant football coach.
•Randy Sawyer was officially hired as an assistant football and assistant track coach.
The board also accepted the resignations of:
•Larry Moore as an assistant eighth grade football coach and assistant middle school wrestling coach;
•Zach Barker as assistant seventh grade football coach and assistant seventh grade basketball coach;
•John Nance as seventh grade head football coach.
•Tracie Kazar as the eighth grade girls basketball coach;
•Brandon Wilmoth as seventh grade head boys basketball coach;
•Kelly Nance, seventh grade assistant girls basketball coach.
