The Wellington boys basketball team started out slow against the Clearwater Indians.

The Crusaders found themselves in a 18-5 hole heading into the second quarter. In the third, the Wellington offense awoke, and got the scoreboard to a 29-17 deficit heading into the locker room at halftime.

Clearwater didn't let up, pushing the their lead to nearly 20 in the third period. The score was 48-29 to start the fourth quarter. Not much would change in that quarter, the Indians won at Wellington 62-44.
