F.M. "Fred" Swaggart, age 85, of Pensacola, FL passed away December 14, 2012.  He was born in Grant County, OK on September 1, 1927 to Ruby Mason Swaggart and F.M. Swaggart, Sr.
Fred graduated from Caldwell High School, Caldwell, KS and was a long time resident of Wellington, KS and lately Weslaco, TX and Pensacola, FL.  Fred retired after many years of working as a conductor with the Santa Fe Railroad.  He was an avid fisherman, hunter and domino player.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Thomas Swaggart, sisters Gerilee Brasher and Patricia Stringfield, and daughter Joyce Hansen.
Survivors include his beloved wife Barbara La Haye Swaggart of Pensacola, FL; sister Mary Clingenpeel of Roseburg, OR; children Judy Shore of Milton, FL, Janey Nida of Hilton Head Island, SC, Jerald Swaggart of Seligman, MO and Jackie Friend of Nashville, TN; seven grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be planned at a later date.  National Cremation and Burial Society of Milton, FL is handling the arrangements.
