South Haven split games with Garber Saturday, with the Cardinal boys winning and the girls losing.

The South Haven boys team struggled at the free throw line, but made them down the stretch to beat Garber (Okla.) 49-43 Saturday in South Haven.

South Haven hit four of six in the final 31 seconds after going 2-16 at the line to that point.

South Haven was led in scoring by Bradyn Wilkey with 13, and Anthony Hawkins added 10. Ryan Malaska scored 18 for Garber.

The South Haven girls got within two points and had a chance to tie the game in the final moments, but lost to Garber (Okla.) 43-40 at South Haven Saturday.

Paige Turek led the Lady Cardinals with 15. Shaelynn Garrett led Garber with 15.


Attica boys beat Caldwell 57-55 in overtime. The Caldwell girls beat Attica 44-42.
