Haines & Rountree Are FFA State Award Finalists

WHS seniors Kate Haines and Tatum Rountree have both been named Proficiency Finalists in their respective areas of expertise. Their outstanding work in their Supervised Agricultural Experiences will be honored on stage at the 96th Kansas FFA Convention from May 29th to 31st. Haines excelled in the Veterinary Science category, while Rountree distinguished herself in Forage Production.

Janzen Awarded

Kendall Janzen, a senior at WHS, has earned KanOkla’s Continuing Education Scholarship. Alongside her graduation from WHS this weekend, she will also be receiving an Associate of Science degree from Cowley College.
