Bitsy is an adorable pity mix. She was removed from a bad situation but was too young and playful for the elderly rescuer to keep. She was brought to us so that she would not be euthanized and we are working hard to find her a loving home. She is 1-2 years old and weighs around 35 pounds. She loves people and attention! Crusader Baseball On A Streak

The Wellington baseball team is on a eleven-game winning streak after defeating Clearwater twice at Riverfront Stadium in Wichita and following that up with a pair of wins against Buhler and Belle Plaine.

WELLINGTON AND THE MERIDIAN HIGHWAY Today we take for granted how well our community is connected by highways, but how did they come about? By the 1890s, long before Henry Ford’s Model T made motor-cars commonplace, bicyclists started demanding paved roads. They were joined by farmers who wanted passable roads to get their families and their goods to town, and along with city and country folks from all over, which started the “Good Roads Movement”.

Tennis Competes At Circle and El Dorado

Wellington Tennis was in action last week at El Dorado and Circle along with Augusta and Buhler. 1# Singles player Hunter Worley competing at Circle placed1 st and2# Singles player Maverick Peterson playing in El Dorado also finished in 1st place.
