Wellington High School freshman swimmer Alara Wilson recently earned a State consideration time in the 100 Freestyle event at the Campus High School Meet. Going into the race seeded 7th, Wilson delivered an outstanding performance, securing 6th place among 47 competitors.
Wellington Tennis was in action last week at El Dorado and Circle along with Augusta and Buhler. 1# Singles player Hunter Worley competing at Circle placed1 st and2# Singles player Maverick Peterson playing in El Dorado also finished in 1st place.

Local Kids Celebrate Earth Day All Week The Earth Day celebrations in Wellington commenced on Monday, April 22nd, the official day designated in 1970 to honor the Earth and raise awareness about environmental issues. Guided by Eisenhower 4thgrade teachers Millie Angleton and Vanessa Sawyer, students had the opportunity to hold the “Whole World” in their hands.
The Wellington track and field team competed in Clearwater last Friday. The Crusaders had many top finishes throughout the day.
