WHS Band Competes At State

The WHS Band performed at the 2023-2024 5-1A State Music Festival hosted at Arkansas City High School last Thursday, April 18th. Their musical selections included “March of the Trolls” by Edvard Grieg and “Rippling Watercolors” by Brian Balmages.

Ford Motor Company’s Gulfstream G650 ultra-high-speed, ultralong- range business jet flew into the Wellington Municipal Airport this weekend. Manufactured by Gulfstream Aerospace, these airplanes are designed to provide all the comforts of home, at 50,000 feet. The aircraft can carry up to 18 passengers with a range of 7,000nm. The aerodynamic wing increases speed, range and fuel efficiency.

Doubleheader Wins In El Dorado

After picking up a pair of wins against Winfield, including a season high of 18 runs, Crusader baseball kept the good times rolling with two more victories over El Dorado last week to improve to 9-8 on the season.
