Last Friday, the Wellington Recreation Foundation hosted a beer and wine tasting fundraiser to benefit the Kenneth L. Everhart Memorial Scholarship fund.

Glass expert and collector Denis Warkentine traveled to the National Depression Glass Museum last Saturday to share his knowledge about Glass Heisey Animals. The symposium included a variety of interesting details about how the delicate glass figurines were made, including adjustments made after the glass animal was removed from the mold.
The Wellington Humane Society hosted a session of their popular goat yoga, which proved to be highly entertaining and emotionally soothing for participants. The yoga class was taught by Ashlen Hearlson, and Half Pint Acres, a Caldwell-based farm, brought the baby goats.
