Regional farmers and ranchers showcased their goods during the inaugural “Market of Farms” event last weekend in Caldwell. The event highlighted the efforts of the Border Queen Harvest Hub, a coordinated production organization being established to connect farmers and ranchers directly with consumers.
The Wellington Municipal Airport was one of 58 projects at 37 Kansas airports recently selected to receive a grant from the Kansas Airport Improvement Program (KAIP). The airport’s current rotating beacon is obsolete and the grant for $11,700 will fund its replacement.
Weather permitting, the U.S.-166 bridge crossing over I-35/KTA at mile marker 4.049 will temporarily close to traffic to accommodate bridge construction beginning March 28tgh, to increase overhead clearance for KTA traffic.

Martin is a handsome 2-3 year old Labrador mix that weighs 47 pounds. He was fostered for a few months so we know a lot about him! He is very loving and would enjoy someone who can give him lots of attention. He has lived with cats and other dogs and does well with proper introductions. He is very aectionate and loyal!
