e application peri od for a vacancy on the Housing Authority Board has opened for a 15-day period through 5pm, January 31, 2025. e appointment will be for the remainder of the term which expires April 30, 2027. e care and operation of Wheat Capital Manor is under the control and management of the Housing Authority Board.
e Crusader and Lady Crusader wrestling teams competed in the Clearwater Invitational over the weekend and both teams had multiple top four placers.
Mary Cramer, 91, of Wellington, KS, died peacefully on January 5, 2025 at Botkin Care and Rehab Center in Wellington.
e Wellington boys basketball team went 2-0 last week. After easily dispatching El Dorado, 69-46 last Tuesday, they had an intense battle that could only resemble postseason basketball against WinBeld Friday night.
