The life of Franklin D. Houser began January 30, 1934, on the kitchen table of his grandmother’s house in Arkansas City, KS. Eternal life began at the moment of death, February 6, 2024. He had just turned 90.

Boys Basketball Finishes Regular Season

After losing to Collegiate 61-40 earlier in the week, the Wellington boys basketball team looked to improve their play against Andale Friday night. The Dukes competed hard and shot well on Senior Night but came up short in their regular season finale against Andale, whom they had previously beaten earlier this season.

Winter Sports Honors Seniors

WHS seniors participating in Basketball, Powerlifting, and Crusader Radio were honored along with their parents, guardians, host parents during halftime of the Varsity Boys Basketball game against Andale last Thursday night. Lady Crusaders Are AVCTL Division IV Champions

After defeating the Collegiate girls’ basketball team by 54 points with a final score of 71-17 on Tuesday night, Wellington looked to finish the week perfect against Andale. The Wellington girls basketball team cruised to a 35-point win to finish the regular season with just one loss.
