Walking Tacos For Project Prom
Prior to last week’s basketball games, the public was invited to contribute to Project Prom by indulging in the delectable offering of walking tacos. The response was overwhelming, with over 200 tacos sold.
Elementary Students Celebrate Kansas Day
On Monday, January 29th, Kansas marked its163rd birthday, and the occasion was celebrated at both Eisenhower and Washington Elementary Schools. Guided by 4th-grade teacher Vanessa Sawyer, students at Eisenhower’s 4th grade took on the role of instructors, imparting Kansas history and knowledge to the Kindergarten and First Grade classes.
Big Week For WHS Wrestling
After competing in a dual at home against Clearwater last Thursday, the Wellington girls and boys wrestling teams competed in tournaments on back to back days going to Remington on Friday and the girls went to Wichita South on Saturday.

This is Barney’s “Adopt Me” face! He is such a character and can make the sweetest puppy faces! Removed from the local pound as a puppy, he is now a healthy 9-month-old weighing about 45 pounds. He can be shy at first, but he is a super sweet boy who gets along with other dogs and can’t wait to be loved in a furever home. Stop in this week to meet Barney!
