AVCTL Honors WHS Players on Offense and Defense

Wellington’s starting quarterback, Dusty Bannister was named co-offensive Most Valuable Player of the Ark Valley Chisholm Trail League. As voted on by the coaches, Bannister, a junior, joins Owen Eck of Andale and Hudson Ferralez of Collegiate as co-MVP’s.

Two Christmas Stories, Two Casts

It was finally Christmastime, the best time of the year. The houses were strung with tiny colored lights, their windows shining with the warm yellow glow only Christmas could bring. The scents of pine needles and hot cocoa mingled together, wafting through the air, and the sweet sounds of Christmas could be heard in the distance… Looking for ways to get in the Christmas spirit?

Operation Holiday Update

For Operation Holiday, helping families in need is a significant undertaking that requires donations of all kinds and amounts. This year, volunteers shared that contributions to Operation Holiday are about half what they were last year.

Why visit the Library?

The American Library Association recently published a national survey entitled “Gen Z and Millennials: How They Use Public Libraries and Identify Through Media Use”. Among a number of interesting facts was that people ages 40 and younger, although not identifying themselves as readers, use the public library at higher rates than the previous generation.

WRC Leading Children’s Apparel Drive

Staff and members of the Wellington Recreation Commission are leading a“ Warm The Children” apparel drive for kids in kindergarten through8 th grade. The donated clothing items ;coats ,hats ,gloves, pajamas ,socks ,sweatpants ,tops ,hoodies ,leggings ,and underwear will be divided among the four Wellington Elementary Schools and the Middle School.

Question: We recently moved into a newer home and are not loving the look of our old furniture. It seems kind of tired and doesn’t really fit with the style of our new home. But, I can’t justify getting rid of it just because we’ve moved. How would you deal with this situation?
