We would love to see a Christmas miracle for Lucy! She is our longest stay at just over 1,100 days. She is timid with new people, but the most loving dog once she gets to know you! She is down to be our guinea pig for silly videos and costumes, lets us dress her up and is a ham for the camera! She celebrated her birthday last week with us again with some extra treats and love, but we would really love to see her get a home for Christmas! Please help us find her the perfect home!
e Wellington High School Esports Overwatch team brought home a double victory last week, winning both the Class 4A Championship and the All-Classications (1A-6A) Grand Championship at the Sun(ower State Esports Championships held at Highland Community College.
&e annual Crusader Christmas Concert brought holiday cheer to the audience in the Wellington High School auditorium last Friday night with a wonderful mix of choir and solo performances. &e event, under the direction of Jennifer Ault, showcased the talents of students across multiple grades.
Wellington swimmer Ralph Cornejo joined the Winfield Boys Swim Team to compete at the Andover Central Boys Invitational, where the Winfield Vikings secured an impressive 2nd place finish out of 13 teams.

e community gathered downtown on Saturday evening for the annual Christmas parade, a festive tradition that brought holiday cheer to Wellington.
