Tank is a bit of a shy guy, but a big sweetheart! He is currently living in one of our cat colonies and enjoys the other cats and visitors. Tank would make a wonderful companion for someone interested in a cat with a laid-back personality and lots of love to give. He has been with us longer than other cats, so his adoption fee is fully sponsored to an approved applicant. Stop in this week to meet Tank! We are open Wednesday through Friday 3-7pm and Saturday 10am-2pm. If you are interested in adoption, please complete the online application before you come in to speed up the adoption process. We go in order of application received, so the sooner you get in your application, the better! Join us for our Anniversary Event this Saturday, December 14th from 10am-2pm! Our adoption special starts today and runs through December 21st. All adult dogs and cats are FREE with a donation!

With sadness, we announce the passing of Anna Rose (âRosieâ) Sanders Brandon. Born on July 26, 1932, in Wichita, Kansas. Rosie passed away on December 4, 2024. She was beloved by her family and many friends. Rosie spent most of her life in Kansas, calling Wellington her home for many years. She was an exceptional homemaker, devoting her time and energy to creating a loving and welcoming home for her husband and her family. Rosie was known for her cooking skills and took immense joy in preparing meals for her family and friends. She was a skilled seamstress, crafting beautiful clothes for her daughters throughout their childhood. Rosie enjoyed reading, fishing, card games, and traveling with Keith. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, creating countless happy memories. Rosie is lovingly remembered by her daughters, Lindi (John W.) Johnson, Lorri (Marl) Carter, Sunni (Jim) Bales, and Christi (Dave) Hamilton. She leaves behind her loving grandsons John E. (Angelica Santos) Johnson, Travis Erwin, Jeffrey Johnson (Danielle Morgan), Bryson (Mellisa) Varner, and Dylan (Alyssa) Richardson. She was preceded in death by her parents, Clyde and Mary Sanders, her cherished husband, Keith Brandon, her beloved grandson, Kyle Erwin, and her nine siblings. A celebration of Rosieâs life will be held privately by her family at a later date.
