With sadness, we announce the passing of Anna Rose (“Rosie”) Sanders Brandon. Born on July 26, 1932, in Wichita, Kansas. Rosie passed away on December 4, 2024. She was beloved by her family and many friends. Rosie spent most of her life in Kansas, calling Wellington her home for many years. She was an exceptional homemaker, devoting her time and energy to creating a loving and welcoming home for her husband and her family. Rosie was known for her cooking skills and took immense joy in preparing meals for her family and friends. She was a skilled seamstress, crafting beautiful clothes for her daughters throughout their childhood. Rosie enjoyed reading, fishing, card games, and traveling with Keith. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, creating countless happy memories. Rosie is lovingly remembered by her daughters, Lindi (John W.) Johnson, Lorri (Marl) Carter, Sunni (Jim) Bales, and Christi (Dave) Hamilton. She leaves behind her loving grandsons John E. (Angelica Santos) Johnson, Travis Erwin, Jeffrey Johnson (Danielle Morgan), Bryson (Mellisa) Varner, and Dylan (Alyssa) Richardson. She also leaves behind 15 greatgrandchildren, her brother-in-law and his wife, Susan, and Terry Brandon, and a multitude of cherished nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Clyde and Mary Sanders, her cherished husband, Keith Brandon, her beloved grandson, Kyle Erwin, and her nine siblings. A celebration of Rosie’s life will be held privately by her family at a later date. We extend our appreciation to those who provided care for Rosie in her final years and invite donations to Interim HealthCare of Wellington in her memory.
