Kanokla is hosting a community meeting today, Thursday, November 21st, from 5 to 7pm at their Wellington office, located at 404 North Washington Avenue.
The application period for the federal Low Income Energy Assistance Program (LIEAP) opened on November 18th and runs until March 31, 2025. The program is federally funded and helps eligible households pay a portion of their home energy costs by providing a one-time per-year benefit.
Wellington High School athletics had several student- athletes sign to play ball at the collegiate level on National Signing Day last week. Seven student athletes across four different sports will be continuing their athletic career.
