Film and television production professionals are hoping this is the year incentives become law so Kansas can attract talent to grow the local media industry.
Six Wellington High School agriculture students traveled to San Diego last week to compete in the inaugural National FFA Turf Science Invitational, an FFA Career Development Event (CDE).
e Wellington wres tling teams competed on their senior night in front of friends and family members. Seniors Cabel Bogguss, Zane Lozano, Axl Norris, Evan Kelly, Jamar Armstrong and Kaylee Horinek were all honored prior to competing against El Dorado.
&e Wellington Area Chamber of Commerce will host their Annual Celebration on February 28th. Tickets are $30 each if purchased by February 14th and $35 each after that date.
USD 353-Wellington is conducting a survey of District patrons seeking their input on facility needs and projects. e Board of Education is considering needed facility improvements in the district and a potential bond election to nance those improvements.
&is week, the Beehive Quilt Shop hosted a fabric collage class led by instructors Pam and Kurt Sackschewsky, using the Happy Villages pattern book by Karen Eckmeier as inspiration.
