Decorating Contest

We would love to see a Christmas miracle for Lucy! She is our longest stay at just over 1,100 days. She is timid with new people, but the most loving dog once she gets to know you! She is down to be our guinea pig for silly videos and costumes, lets us dress her up and is a ham for the camera! She celebrated her birthday last week with us again with some extra treats and love, but we would really love to see her get a home for Christmas! Please help us find her the perfect home!

WHS Ag Shop Earns Top Honors in Ornament Contest

e Kansas Depart ment of Transportation (KDOT) recently conducted a virtual meeting to update the public on a 2011 Service Development Plan (SDP) for passenger rail service from Oklahoma City, OK to Newton, KS, where it would then connect with the Southwest Chief, a national route with one round-trip daily on Amtrak’s passenger rail system.

e owners of Diamond Springs Wedding and Event Venue in Milan hosted a festive holiday open house to showcase the charm and amenities of their beautiful facility.

Take a stroll or drive through town to enjoy the dazzling holiday lights decorating local businesses and homes. It’s a delightful adventure that captures the spirit of the holidays!

Tank is a bit of a shy guy, but a big sweetheart! He is currently living in one of our cat colonies and enjoys the other cats and visitors. Tank would make a wonderful companion for someone interested in a cat with a laid-back personality and lots of love to give. He has been with us longer than other cats, so his adoption fee is fully sponsored to an approved applicant. Stop in this week to meet Tank! We are open Wednesday through Friday 3-7pm and Saturday 10am-2pm. If you are interested in adoption, please complete the online application before you come in to speed up the adoption process. We go in order of application received, so the sooner you get in your application, the better! Join us for our Anniversary Event this Saturday, December 14th from 10am-2pm! Our adoption special starts today and runs through December 21st. All adult dogs and cats are FREE with a donation!

Mark your calendars for the Crusader Christmas Parade on Saturday, De - cember 14, starting at 5pm in downtown Wellington! e parade will travel north on Washington Ave - nue from 4th to 8th Street. While you're there, pick up some reindeer food, sip on hot cocoa, and drop your letter to Santa in the special mailbox.
