Inspired By The Power of Color
Last Sunday, the WHS auditorium was filled with guests from around the region as well as out-of-state attendees who gathered to hear “The Power of Color Inspiration Lecture” by renowned artists and fabric designers Kaffe Fassett and Brandon Mably.


Community Blood Drive
The Wellington High School National Honor Society (NHS) is hosting a community blood drive in partnership with the American Red Cross on November 4th from 8:30am to 2:15pm in the small gym.

Love On A Leash Visits Wellington
The Wellington Public Library welcomed volunteers from the “Love on a Leash South Central KS” chapter for a special event last week. Children from the community had the chance to read aloud to the organization’s therapy dogs, with dogs being the main characters in many of the stories! “It was our first time in Wellington,” said Chapter Leader Leah Donley.


Pumpkin Spice & Everything Nice!
The weather was warm, but the apple cider slushies were cool and delicious! The 2024 Fall Festival filled the downtown streets with fun activities for everyone.
