Tonight, the Dore marks its 11th annual Wine Night, promising an exclusive and delightful experience for attendees. The monthlong event, which is RSVP only, unfolds every Wednesday in February from 7 to 9pm.
It was a busy week at the Wellington Municipal Airport as members of the 4th Combat Aviation Brigade’s 4th Attack Battalion from Butts Army Airfield, Fort Carson, Colorado flew three Boeing AH-64 Apache helicopters into the airport for refueling.
Fifth-grade students from Lincoln, Washington, Kennedy, and Eisenhower Elementary Schools participated in the inaugural Citywide Pickleball Tournament organized by Ashley Shuck, Director of Community Relations and Marketing Coordinator for Aahn’s Place. The tournament was held at the Armaan Foundation Activity Center and allowed students to showcase their skills on the indoor courts.

Last Sunday afternoon, Eisenhower Elementary School transformed Memorial Auditorium into a lively hub of family fun for their annual IKE Family Bingo event. Sponsored by the PTA, the event served as a fantastic opportunity for teachers and parents to come together and create an entertaining experience for families.
Last Saturday, the Wellington Humane Society extended an invitation to the community to participate in a Vaccination Clinic held in the Armory Building. The event garnered enthusiastic attendance from both dog and cat lovers, offering complimentary DHPP (Parvo-Distemper) vaccines for dogs and FVRCP (Feline Combo) for cats.
