WRC Leading Children’s Apparel Drive

Staff and members of the Wellington Recreation Commission are leading a“ Warm The Children” apparel drive for kids in kindergarten through8 th grade. The donated clothing items ;coats ,hats ,gloves, pajamas ,socks ,sweatpants ,tops ,hoodies ,leggings ,and underwear will be divided among the four Wellington Elementary Schools and the Middle School.

Pet of the Week

Seester is a 7-month-old adorable girl with an elegant tuxedo coat. She enjoys playing with the other kitties and cuddling. Purring is her specialty! She is searching for a best friend for Christmas. Could you use a new best friend? Stop in this week to meet Seester! We are open Wednesday through Friday 3-7pm and Saturday 10am-2pm. If you are interested in adoption, please fill out the online application before you come in to speed up the adoption process. We go in order of application received, so the sooner you get in your application, the better! Don’t forget, Seester has a $10 discount on her adoption fee during her week. Plus, we have an additional adoption special right now, which means her fee is waived during her week!
