Solo artist and former lead singer of Bowling for Soup, Jaret Ray Reddick, solo act Thomas Ian Nicholas and Wellington local George Friesen performed at the Regent Theatre the last night of the Kansas Wheat Festival. The trio of performers played music for 4 hours beginning at 7pm.

Years of enjoying summer baseball at Hibbs-Hooten Field continues with the 2nd Annual Clyde Jenkins Memorial Baseball Tournament held this year during the Kansas Wheat Festival. The 2023 tournament bracket boasted 17 teams, playing 40 games on 2 fields.

Wednesday, July 12 6pm Picnic in the Park – Sellers Park, Bring your chair and KWF button. Thursday, July 13 10pm, Chamber Coffee in Memorial Auditorium, with host USA Connections.

Yet, the term Jelly Roll means something quite different to quilters and sewists.The term refers to pre-cut, color coordinated rolls of fabric made up of 2.5” x 42” strips of material.

Be better prepared when accidents and injuries happen by attending our CPR and Stop the Bleed class on Tuesday, July 18th at 6pm in the Public Safety Building located at 200 North C Street. The class is free and available to individuals age 10 and up.
