Agriculture & Natural Resources Agent K-State Research & Sumner Co. Extension Office The Sumner County 4-H Council will hold their annual Cookie Jar Auction during the Wheat Festival Picnic in the Park, Wednesday July 12th at 6pm.

Many cats are scared and timid when they first arrive and Eskimo Pie was no exception. It took a little longer for him to open up, but he has become a very sweet boy! He spent time in the cat colony and several ladies helped teach him that people are there to love on him.

Gifted Pencil Artist Captures Beauty

Art has always been a part of Jeffrey Maxwell’s life, although he never predicted he would be drawing famous South American human rights activists or actresses from his home in Wellington. Maxwell was born in Colorado but connects more with southern Kansas and northern Oklahoma, where he attended 12 different schools growing up.
