Local DOE Study Includes Proven Gas Submeter

A recent U.S.General Service Administration’s (GSA) Green Proving Ground evaluation of non-invasive, low-cost submeters supports the use of these devices to measure real-time, high-resolution data. As part of Sumner County’s U.S. Department of Energy’s Office (DOE) of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy Building (EERE) Technologies Proving Ground – Public Sector Field Validation currently being conducted in Wellington the research team must track electric and gas energy consumption for all six study buildings.

Making Good Men Better Since 1874

Wellington Lodge #150 of the Freemasons of Kansas has been a part of this community since 1874. The local chapter recently celebrated the 25th anniversary of an agreement between the two principal governing bodies of Kansas Freemasons; The Grand Lodge of Kansas, whose members have historically been white and The Prince Hall jurisdiction, whose members have historically been black.
