Kansas State University Salina recently selected Wellington alumna Heidi Gulick to serve as a student ambassador for the 2024-2025 academic year.

Linda Fair was a talented local seamstress with an immense amount of school spirit. In 2008, she and her husband, Gary, began a meaningful tradition for the Wellington girls’ tennis team that continues to this day.
Locals in Wellington had another opportunity to capture the aurora borealis last week. The uniquely colorful light display was visible to the naked eye as well as through cameras and cell phones.
Homecoming weekend, Lady Crusaders from all four grade levels hit the Sellers Park field to compete in the annual Powder Puff football game.
