Summer football camp for the 2024-2025 school year was held last week in Worden Park for players in 1st through 6th grades. The four-day camp was jointly conducted by the coaches and players from Wellington High School and volunteers from the Wellington Youth Football organization.
The Wellington Family Aquatic Center welcomed all incoming 6th graders through outgoing 8th graders to their annual Middle School Splash Bash last Sunday night. Admission included a slice of pizza and kids took full advantage of the Center’s 154-foot open air slide, high and low diving boards, mushroom waterfall, tumble buckets and a lily pad area.
About forty young tech enthusiasts enjoyed the hospitality and engaging activities at the 2024 Tech Camp, held in the Upstairs Downtown event space in Caldwell. Co-hosted by KanOkla and Cowley Community College, the exciting camp brought together Sumner County students in grades 5 through 9.
