The Wellington Memorial Board is hosting the event as a fundraiser to help pay for much needed improvements and renovations to the stage and floor of the Auditorium.

Wellington Middle School is participating in “Girls on the Run” for the first time this year. The organization has already registered almost 200 middle schoolers with a plan to empower them through their Heart and Soul program.
For the second year in a row, Wellington High School, the Sumner County Community Drug Action Team (SCCDAT) and employees from GKN Aerospace teamed up to greet students with inspiring chalk messages and illustrations on the sidewalk at the high school.
