As Kansans celebrated the state’s birthday last week, Eisenhower Ele- mentary School extended the observance into a full Kansas Spirit Week, with themed days and special activities honoring the Sunflower State.
e Wellington Youth Wrestling Club hosted its 2nd annual Crusade rough e Heartland tournament at Wellington High School last Sunday, January 25th. e event brought together 29 regional wrestling teams and 315 youth wrestlers for a day of spirited competition.
e 3rd, 4th and 5th graders at Eisenhower Elementary School recently competed for top honors in the school's Spelling Bee. Music teacher Dallas Roths served as the ocial pronouncer for the event. Superintendent Adam Hateld and School Board members Andrea Kreifels and Jessica Seeliger served as judges.
