Creamy Green Chile Curry 1 rotisserie style chicken (deboned and chopped) 1 large onion (diced) 2 cloves of garlic (minced) 2 4oz cans of Hatch green chilies 1 T curry powder 1 quart chicken broth ½ cup butter ½ cup of flour 1 cup heavy cream Sauté onion and garlic in butter until caramelized. Add curry and cook for a few minutes to release aromatics.

Big Wheels Raises Big Money

Local music geniuses Carter Green and Kirk Russell helped raise a total of $232,000 in Los Angeles, rocking out on the iconic Whiskey A Go-Go stage. Carter Green, owner of Greenjeans Studios, and Kirk Russell, multi instrumentalist and rock composer, took the stage on March 10th to raise funds for non-profit organization Operation Birthday.

The Everhart Legacy

Memorial Auditorium welcomed a big crowd last Thursday as guests attended the Beer and Wine Tasting fundraiser benefiting the Kenneth L. Everhart Memorial Scholarship fund. The Wellington Recreation Foundation hosted the event in memory of Kenneth Everhart who passed away in 2021. Everhart served as the Superintendent of the Wellington Recreation Center for 32 years and the Kenneth L. Everhart Memorial Scholarship was established in his honor.
