After 462 days of pregnancy, Monica gave birth to her calf on February 16th, at 9:29pm. Monica’s caretakers monitored the birthing process by camera to ensure everything went smoothly and the calf was standing and nursing within a couple hours.

The 2nd annual Steve Sturgis Laptop Fund Dance Camp raised over $600. All Dance Camp funds raised benefit WHS seniors. Thirty-one young dancers were instructed on a short dance routine by the Infinity Dance Company. The dancers then performed during halftime on February 14th.
Harold Mayes,Agler and Gaeddert Certified Public Accountants, was present to discuss the school’s independent auditor’s report of the 2021-2022 district budget. Mayes explained that a total of $7.8 million funds were available for the school district at the beginning of the year and $7.1 million remained at the end of the year.The district’s long term debt went down more than 2 million, partially due to a couple of bonds being paid.
