Eliza’s Note From Santa

Eliza Conwell and her mother Trish are still in Colorado awaiting news that will bring her a medical miracle. Three months ago, the two moved away from family and friends in Wellington so Eliza could receive access to specialized care from Children’s Hospital Colorado in Aurora.

Thank you, Operation Holiday

Operation Holiday, coordinated by the Wellington Noon Lions Club, helped a record number of Sumner County families celebrate Christmas this year. Thanks to the efforts of hundreds of volunteers, private and business monetary contributions, donations of new and gently used toys, and support of the Sumner County Toy Run, 112 families, including nearly 300 children, experienced a joyful holiday.
