Easy peach cobbler cupcakes Ingredients: 1 box butter cake mix 3 c peaches diced 1 c brown sugar 3 tbsp butter Option: squeeze of lemon Canned icing Butter cookies (crushed for topping) Mix cake mix according to box directions and bake in a cupcake pan with liners.While the cupcakes are baking, melt butter over medium high heat, add peaches and cook until peaches soften.

Wellington’s New Permit Portal

The city’s new Online Permit Portal now provides contractors and citizens with the tools needed to submit forms, manage applications, review permit status, request inspections, and upload documents and images all in one convenient location. The portal builds on the software that the City has been using for some time for code enforcement and inspections. The difference is now all of the documents can now be uploaded and stored in the same place. The digital portal is accessible on any device with an internet connection; smartphone, laptop, pc or tablet.

Thank you, Operation Holiday

Operation Holiday, coordinated by the Wellington Noon Lions Club, helped a record number of Sumner County families celebrate Christmas this year. Thanks to the efforts of hundreds of volunteers, private and business monetary contributions, donations of new and gently used toys, and support of the Sumner County Toy Run, 112 families, including nearly 300 children, experienced a joyful holiday.
