Wellington Humane Society has a Christmas Card Project taking place throughout the month of December. Everyone is welcome to write and address a Christmas card to our animals. Washington Elementary’s “Thanksgiving Feast” has become an annual tradition where the entire school gathers to share a meal together with their teachers prior to the holiday break. Each grade brings something to the feast and the teachers provide the meat.
