Pets of the Week

Beautiful Theo came in from a hoarding situation and was very timid at first, but after taking some time to decompress, he is doing wonderfully! Theo is currently hanging out in one of the cat colonies playing with other cats and welcoming visitors and volunteers. He loves other cats and is such a handsome guy with a sweet personality!

Eagles Return

It seemed only fitting that our newspaper photographer, Rhonda Newberry, was able to capture this beautiful bald eagle in Wellington a few days before the community celebrated Veterans Day. The bald eagle has been a national symbol for the United States since 1782.

Cowley College Chat

Career Exploration Day, organized in partnership with WHS instructor Rane Case and Julie Rhoads was a success! Last week, 143 WHS freshman students, teachers, and counselors toured the Sumner campus and met with Cowley instructors.
