WALT Tokens and System Upgrades

Wellington Area Local Transit (WALT), has been providing reliable and affordable transportation in the Wellington community since 1986 and they have recently added some new features. The transportation service is available for patrons of all ages and anyone aged 8 and older can ride without an adult.

Erma Takes Topeka

Erma Ratliff visited the Kansas State Capitol building for a luncheon this week honoring her, and other select young Kansas residents, for the Kansas NextGen Under 30 Award. Upon arriving at the Capitol Building, she was greeted by Kansas Lieutenant Governor David Toland which continued to a networking luncheon with the other award recipients.

Honor After 50 Years

After serving as an Army Medic in the Vietnam war from 1969-1972, Charles Lawless has publically received the honor and gratitude that he deserves. Nominated to take the Kansas Honor Flight, Lawless recently visited Washington D.C.
