A Crusader Classic Reunion

During Fall Festival this year, a bit of a “historical” event took place as four WHS classes came together for the first-ever, multiclass reunion with WHS alums from of 1980-1983. The first of what many hope will become a tradition; the concept began with the class of 1982.

Annual Duck Hunting Meeting

The annual duck hunting meeting and duck blind drawing will be held at the Wellington Lake Shop on Tuesday, October 11, at 6:30pm. This meeting is required for all current duck blind holders and those hoping to be selected in the drawing.

Drive-Thru Flu Clinics

Help fight the flu! The Sumner County Health Department will be providing Drive-Thru Flu Clinics at the Wellington Recycle Center, 217 North Jefferson Avenue in Wellington. The drive-thru flu clinics will be in operation: Tuesday, October 4th from 4pm – 6pm Wednesday, October 5th from 11am – 2pm Thursday, October 6th, 9am – 11am For adults 18 – 64, the cost is $40.00.

Public Park Participation

The City of Wellington Park Board and the Wellington Recreation Commission are hosting a public meeting October 5th, at 6:30pm at Memorial Auditorium. The community is invited to attend and provide input for park system improvements, ask questions about park plans, share ideas for park amenities and learn more about the Wellington Parks 5 year plan.
