At the last City Council meeting, Jeff Porter accepted the offer council members extended to become Wellington’s next City Manager. For the past seven years, Porter has served in a similar capacity as the City Administrator of Medicine Lodge, KS.

With over 6 years as a science teacher, 12 years as a counselor and 5 years as an Assistant Principal, Nance is ready to give back to the same school that inspired him to start his career as an educator.
