As students prepare to head back to school, the Library celebrated the end of the Summer Reading Program with a special event. Participants of the “Adventure Begins at Your Library” program were treated to a free movie and snacks at the Wellington Regent Theatre.

The 97th Sumner County Fair was filled with exhibits, activities, shows, and music as members of the county shared their talents. Local 4-H and FFA members exhibited their livestock, flowers, crafts, vegetables, artwork, photography and much more.

Last Saturday, the Manila Gorillas emerged victorious for the fourth consecutive year at the 33rd running of the Great Race. While three other teams have previously won the race three years in a row, the Manila Gorillas have now established a new four-year dynasty.
